Benjamin Barker - The end of his life

Benjamin Barker died in June 1793, having been supported in his later years by his son, Thomas, and a pension provided by Thomas' patrol Charles Spackman. He was never an outstanding artist, and most of his documented work seems to be either horses or coats-of-arms, which may have satisfied their owners, but were by no means works of art
