Amgueddfa Pontypool Museum is open from Monday to Friday - 10.00am - 5pm Saturday & Sunday 2.00pm - 5pm - last admissions at 4.30pm.

Admission charge will be changing from January 1st 2010 to £3.00 Adults £2.00 Concessions £1 Child £5 Family
Free admission on Wednesdays and Sundays will be abilished in 2010 but a reduced rate of £1 per person will be offered on those days.
Free admission at all times to Torfaen Library Card Holders

The Museum has free Car Parking at the rear of the building, disabled parking at the front. There is a fine Gift Shop and Coffee Shop. Situated next to Pontypool Park (with Shell Grotto and Folly Tower) and close to Pontypool Town Centre, there is plenty to do.

Access Statement:

All the public facilities, services, rooms and galleries in Pontypool Museum are totally accessible for all users – the Trust provides ramps, rails, seats and fully complies with the standards for the DDA. There is signage and some interpretation in both English & Welsh Braille.

For further information, particularly regarding the Shell Grotto and Folly Tower, it is advisable to ring during opening hours.
